I'm... read more unhappy that my gopro, even after buying the red filter my last trip to Dauin, produced much better videos, but I ran out of memory space. Had some incredible opportunities to get some truly beautiful up close turtles swim bys shots, just a couple of feet from me and a junior turtle swimming vertically up a wall 45cm from me as I was also going up the wall. He showed no sign of fear of me one bit as we slowly swam together. Ugh!!! And doing a drift dive on the east side of Apo Island (first time for me) from Coogan dive site towards the south point with its much swifter currents than the west side, felt like I was flying over the reefs. Seriously though, Gary is an awesome instructor and guide and knows everything in the Dauin seas with 9000 dives under his belt, and better yet a great friend to have drink/food n laughs and stories and a few cold San Miguel beers with. I wouldn't recommend anyone else if you ever need a dive guide in the Dauin/Dumaguete/Cebu/Sequijor area. You will see/experience some of the most amazing things, the aquatic life and corals and its beautiful creatures.
